Community Guidelines
QuotesFromBible.com is a neutral textual reference. The “What does this mean to you?” sections on our /for/ pages are the only place on the site where we publish reader contributions — and we take that responsibility seriously.
What we publish
We look for submissions that add something genuine to the conversation. This might be:
- A specific moment when a passage meant something to you
- An honest account of difficulty — we do not require happy endings
- A question the text raised for you
- What a verse meant in a particular season of life
We do not require faith. We do not require resolution. We require honesty.
What we do not publish
We do not publish:
- Theological arguments or doctrinal debates
- Content promoting a church, ministry, product, or service
- Attacks on any faith tradition, denomination, or individual
- Hate speech of any kind
- Content that could identify a person without their consent
- Submissions that appear to be generated by AI
On anonymity
All submissions are published without identifying information. You may choose a pseudonym — any name, word, or phrase you like. If you leave the pseudonym field blank, your submission will appear as “A Reader.”
We collect no names, email addresses, or contact details. Please do not include details that could identify you in your submission text.
On crisis
If you are in crisis or having thoughts of harming yourself, please do not submit a comment. Instead, reach out to someone who can help:
- 📞 USA: 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline — call or text 988 (free, 24/7)
- 🌍 International: findahelpline.com
On response times
We review submissions regularly but cannot guarantee a timeline. Published submissions appear on the relevant page — we do not individually notify contributors when their submission is selected.
On removal
If you submitted something and would like it removed, contact us at corrections@quotesfrombible.com with “Submission removal” in the subject line. Since submissions are anonymous we cannot verify authorship, but we will remove any submission at reasonable request.
