Privacy Policy
QuotesFromBible.com is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
Testimonial submissions: When you use the “What does this mean to you?” form, we collect only the text you submit, the passage you select, and your chosen pseudonym (if any). We do not collect your name, email address, IP address, or any other identifying information.
How we use it
Submitted text is reviewed by the QuotesFromBible editorial team and may be published anonymously on the relevant page. Submissions that are not selected for publication are deleted after review.
We do not use your submission for any other purpose. We do not share it with third parties. We do not use it for marketing.
Form processing
Our submission forms are processed by Formspree (formspree.io). Formspree is GDPR compliant. You can view Formspree's privacy policy at formspree.io/legal/privacy.
Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies for basic site functionality. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or behavioural profiling.
With your consent, we use two privacy-respecting analytics services to understand which entries people read and how the site is being used:
- StatCounter — anonymised page-view counting. Sets a small cookie used only for visit attribution.
- Microsoft Clarity — aggregated behavioural analytics (where pages scroll, which links are clicked, where reading drops off). Clarity may record session interactions in aggregate. It does not collect personal data, does not link sessions to identifiable users, and is not used for advertising.
Neither service is used for advertising, profiling, or third-party sharing. Both are loaded only after you opt in.
On your first visit you will see an opt-in banner at the bottom of the page. Neither StatCounter nor Clarity loads, and no analytics cookies are set, until you click “Accept.” If you click “Decline,” no analytics script runs at all.
Your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage under qfb-consent. To change it later, clear that key from your site data and reload the page — the banner will reappear. You can also review the providers’ own privacy policies at statcounter.com/about/legal/ and privacy.microsoft.com.
Your rights
You have the right to request removal of any published submission. Contact us at corrections@quotesfrombible.com with “Submission removal” in the subject line.
