Privacy Policy

QuotesFromBible.com is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

Testimonial submissions: When you use the “What does this mean to you?” form, we collect only the text you submit, the passage you select, and your chosen pseudonym (if any). We do not collect your name, email address, IP address, or any other identifying information.

How we use it

Submitted text is reviewed by the QuotesFromBible editorial team and may be published anonymously on the relevant page. Submissions that are not selected for publication are deleted after review.

We do not use your submission for any other purpose. We do not share it with third parties. We do not use it for marketing.

Form processing

Our submission forms are processed by Formspree (formspree.io). Formspree is GDPR compliant. You can view Formspree's privacy policy at formspree.io/legal/privacy.

Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies for basic site functionality. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or behavioural profiling.

With your consent, we use a single privacy-respecting analytics service — StatCounter — to record anonymised page views so we can see which entries people read and improve the site over time. StatCounter sets a small cookie used only for visit counting; it does not build user profiles, share data with advertisers, or follow you to other sites.

On your first visit you will see an opt-in banner at the bottom of the page. StatCounter does not load and no analytics cookie is set until you click “Accept.” If you click “Decline,” no analytics script runs at all.

Your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage under qfb-consent. To change it later, clear that key from your site data and reload the page — the banner will reappear. You can also review StatCounter’s own privacy policy at statcounter.com/about/legal/.

Your rights

You have the right to request removal of any published submission. Contact us at corrections@quotesfrombible.com with “Submission removal” in the subject line.
